About the Role:

We are looking for a Video Editor (Junior) who can help us create more long form videos. It is a new role or new seniority level for an existing role.

Long-form (Primary)

• Assemble full documentary/explainer style videos from script, voiceover, and sourced footage
• Build a rough cut, then refine to a locked edit through structured revision rounds
• Source and license B-roll, stock video, and music from Envato Elements and equivalent libraries. Music must be Licensed- Non Negotiable
• Create and animate supporting visuals, text callouts, statistics, simple maps, lower thirds, motion graphics
• Sound design: voiceover cleanup, music bed selection, ducking under narration, SFX for transitions and emphasis
• Maintain project files, naming conventions, and the shared asset library so any project can be reopened six months later without archaeology

Short-form (Secondary)

• Make a rough cut
• Adapt the same asset set into multiple videos
• Apply on-brand captions, motion accents, and end cards
• Turn around revisions quickly inside client feedback cycles

Across both:

• Edit at least 2 complete reels in 1 day
• Edit a complete 10 min explainer video in 3 days
• Must have a good design knowledge
• Use AI Tools to increase productivity
• Contribute ideas on pacing and structure , you're expected to have opinions, not just execute

Role Requirements:

• Must have advance level knowledge in using Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Must have basic level knowledge in using Photoshop and Illustrator
• Can generate AI Videos
• Bonus if you can create motion graphics using AI
• Strong communication skills

Has a portfolio showcasing previous long form work for top creators of India

Non-Negotiables:

• We do not need editors who edit in phone.
• Editors should use Premiere pro and After effects only.
• Editors must have had past experience of editing long form videos.
